Who You Talk To

You talk to an independent local provider, not to Gainshd Concrete. Each provider runs their own business, sets their own prices, and does their own work. Our role is to make the introduction and then step back, so the conversation is just between you and them.

What Happens on the Call

Expect a friendly, practical chat. The provider will likely ask what you want built, roughly how big it is, and where the site sits on your property. They may ask about slope, drainage, and how you use the space. Some will suggest a visit to measure and look at the ground. Have a few notes ready, but do not worry about knowing the right words.

What to Ask an Independent Provider

Good questions make a calm conversation. Try these:

  • How will you prepare the base, and how deep will it be?
  • How will water drain away from the house?
  • What is the plan for curing, and how long should I keep off the slab?
  • Who handles control joints and sealing?
  • Can I have a written quote that lists materials and steps?

A good answer is specific and unhurried. A weak answer is vague, or pushes you to sign today. Be careful with anyone who will not put details in writing. If the site shows signs of settling near the foundation, ask whether foundation repair experts should look first.

You Are in Control

You can ask for more than one quote. You can say you need time. You can decide the job is not right and move on. Nothing about a first conversation locks you in, and there is no obligation. Costs vary by job, so rely on the written quote and not on a rough number over the phone.
